Angola and Serbia focus on boosting military cooperation

Luanda, ANGOLA, June 13 - The Angolan and Serbian Republics are betting on a greater dynamism of cooperation in the military field, said Wednesday in Luanda, Afonso Carlos Neto, Secretary of State for Material Resources and Infrastructure of the Ministry of National Defense.,

Afonso Carlos Neto, who made this statement at the closing session of the 4th meeting of the Angola-Serbia Defense Cooperation Committee, which took place from 11 to 13 this month, stressed that the two countries have defined actions to objectively elevate the cooperation in this area.

He also mentioned that during the meeting, special attention was given to the training of cadres, as Angola and the armed forces needed highly qualified men in various fields of science.

In this regard, he said that the concertation undertaken by the parties to improve cooperation was in line with the mutual desire reflected in the projects and programs defined.

"With the fulfillment of this noble and legitimate purpose we are able to exploit with proficiency the other projects and programs defined within the committee and not only," he argued.
