The Idaho Out-Of-School Network is hosting its 5th annual summit this week.

The summit hopes to help connect kids with after school programs.

Beginning today (Monday) through Tuesday at Boise State the summit features keynote speakers, workshops, breakout sessions and more for those who run programs or services for youth out of school.

The network is also working with the Stem Action Center to help every child realize their potential.

"Everyone has a potential to become a scientist or engineer, mathematician, and so these skills can be built up in some of these schools and out of school experiences," said Anna Almerico the Idaho Out of School Network Director.
