At its 'Galaxy Unpacked' event on Feb. 1, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship PC lineup, comprising the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, Book 3 Pro, and Book 3 Pro 360. The launch comes a few weeks after the company released an ARM version of the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 to add to the Intel version that was unveiled back in February 2022. Last month, the company also announced the Galaxy Book 2 Go 5G – the first laptop to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 chipset.

The Galaxy Book 3 lineup comes with a number of features, including high-end hardware, thoughtful software, and new-age form factors, but Samsung is also offering them in a couple of colors to help buyers get the right one to match their taste and personality. First off, the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will be available in a single Graphite color option, while the 14- and 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro will be available in Graphite and Beige colorways. Finally, the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 with 5G connectivity will be available in Graphite and Beige colors.

While smartphones are typically offered in a number of colors, laptops often only come in two or three options, at best. The latest MacBook Pros, for example, come only in Space Gray and Silver colors, while the new Lenovo Yoga 9i – the one that caused a stir at CES 2023 – is available in Oatmeal and Storm Gray. As for the latest Galaxy Book lineup, Graphite will likely be the color of choice for most people, although Samsung's interpretation of Beige also looks pretty darn good. Some might have been hoping for a Silver option, but unfortunately, that isn't available. Still, there are two good colors on offer, and users can pick either to suit their style and taste.

The Galaxy Book series is in its third year now, having originated in 2021, when Samsung launched the first-generation Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro, and Galaxy Book Pro 360. The three latest models are aimed at different buyers looking for specific features from their laptop. While the base Galaxy Book 3 Pro model is a traditional ultrabook that Samsung claims is the "thinnest clamshell device in its class," the Book 3 Pro 360 features a 2-in-1 convertible form factor with S Pen functionality. As for the Book 3 Pro Ultra, it is Samsung's new flagship that comes with cutting-edge hardware and a price to match.

All devices in the Galaxy Book 3 series come with the latest hardware on offer from Intel and NVIDIA. That includes a 13th-Gen Core i9 mobile processor and an RTX 4070 laptop GPU. Samsung is also offering high-end AMOLED displays with high refresh rates, as well as a ton of innovative software features to take advantage of the hardware. The devices also include the company's proprietary Samsung Knox security software that the company claims will help protect against cyber threats. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 lineup belongs to the premium end of the Windows laptop market, so it will be interesting to see how the laptops compete with similar offerings from Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, MSI, and others.
