Pakistanis told about potential of Kyrgyzstan and Third World Nomad Games

Bishkek, July 18, 2018. / Kabar /. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Pakistan hold a seminar on July 17 to develop the investment and export potential of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to deepen the scientific, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Pakistani business community, students of the National University of Modern Languages ​​(NUML) and the Institute of Peace and Diplomacy (IPDS), the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Taking into account Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship in the SCO in 2018-2019, the event was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the IRP together with the Pakistani side in the framework of the "Training Course on the Study of SCO Activities" for representatives of Pakistan's business, science and media.

In his speech, Ambassador Erik Beishembiev told about Kyrgyzstan, its historical, cultural, spiritual peculiarities, as well as export, investment and tourist potential. In particular, the Kyrgyz Ambassador noted the favorable geographic location, the advantages of the country’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union, the GSP + status, through which exporters from the country can supply goods to the EU at zero tariff rates, as well as the efforts of the Kyrgyz government aimed at further improving the favorable investment climate in the country.

The Ambassador also drew the participants' attention to the Kyrgyz-Pakistan cooperation within the framework of the CASA-1000, CPEC and QTTA projects, noting the enormous potential for boosting bilateral cooperation in the industrial and trade-economic spheres.

The guests of the event were shown video clips about the forthcoming Third World Nomad Games, about the tourist and investment opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The seminar aroused great interest among the Pakistani side, more than 20 representatives of business circles, science and the media of the IRP took part in it.
